This is going to sound a bit strange, but my target readers are the people who wouldn’t normally read books. I wrote this book for my husband who has only ever read one book in his life. He is not the type of person to sit down and crack open a book at all. But he stuck with me every step of the way for this and gave great, honest feedback that was so incredibly helpful (albeit somewhat damaging to my ego at times!).
