IndieView with T.C. Morrison, author of Send in The Tort Lawyer$

This book differs from the first two in that one of the featured cases – involving the collapse of a well-known cryptocurrency company – leads to a class action lawsuit that is an entirely appropriate use of the class action mechanism.

IndieView with Khristin Wierman, author of This Time Could be Different

I was very much writing about what I was trying to do at the time…to figure out a new purpose for myself outside of the corporate world. And not really believing I was attempting a novel.

IndieView with Ginger Pinholster, author of Snakes of St. Augustine

This novel was inspired by a real-life tragedy involving the late Jason Harrison. A 38-year-old man living with psychosis, Harrison was killed by police officers in Dallas in 2014 after his mother asked for help getting him to a hospital.

IndieView with Andrew S. Cohen, author of The Murder Mystery Race

I started writing this book in Elementary school if you can believe that.

Indieview with Jarie Bolander, author of Ride or Die

As I searched for books about grief and loss from a male perspective, I did not find many. So as both a way to help other men not feel so alone and a way for me to heal, I decided to write down the experience.

IndieView with Sheri McLaughlin, author of Quantum Mercy

I spread out my notes, stretch out my fingers, turn on the computer and my lengthy playlist of fast-paced instrumental music. As I visualize what is occurring in each scene, I make my characters come to life.

IndieView with Jennifer Hamm, author of One Friday in Napa

Kelly and I ping-ponged for quite some time, and the idea of these characters and their setting was born. And I guess like bacon, everything is better with wine involved.

IndieView with Dagmar Rokita, author of Bloodstained Skies

In my opinion, every paragraph should perform even a simple function, and all fillers should be deleted.

IndieView with Tracy Carter, author of Dogged Pursuit

Every dog I have owned has been a rescue dog, some from very horrible situations. I love building up their confidence, getting them over their past, and then training them in obedience, rally, or agility. I also enjoy writing about Veronica and Leda, her Chesapeake Bay Retriever, out in the backcountry on search and rescue missions because it is quite fun to include a thrilling rescue!

IndieView with Leisl Kaberry, author of Journey of Destiny

My whole life I have been a bit of a story teller, from my earliest memories I recall sitting on a swing and telling myself stories and in high school my friends would do this thing with me (kind of a game I guess) where they would come up with a couple of items or words and then I would have to come up with a story from it while they would try to stump me… I don’t think they ever did though.
