I was born in 1980, leaving the splendour of Derbyshire for the Midlands at the age of five. I started writing when I was seven due to a love of Tolkien and have been writing ever since, studying English at university and thoroughly enjoying every moment. I currently live in Birmingham with my wife and two daughters, writing as much as I can in the darkness before they wake up. Coffee is both my friend and my enemy. I don’t do moody black and white photos, I don’t pay to enter vanity competitions and I have no interest in investing hundreds of pounds just so a couple of people will think I’m bona fide. This does not mean that I don’t take my writing seriously, it just means that my family comes first in all things, as it should be. I welcome criticism as I am always looking to get better. I write in British English, so you may find a few extra letters if you are from the US. Please don’t hold them against me. I love writing and hope that one day I can support my family with it. If not, I’ll just keep plugging away in the wee small hours for my own amusement. Either way, I’ll be happy.
Heal The Sick, Raise The Dead
With the choice between the nightmare known and the nightmare unknown, it is the pull of the journey that drives Guy onwards, surrounded by a strange demonic family: the giant of aggression, the hideous shrinking man and the silent child. Together they travel from their lonely island home into a land of rain and blood, where the last remnants of humanity desperately hold on to the spark of life against a growing flood of the undead, and where either sanity or truth will finally be unravelled.

The Binary Man
Everything is possible, somewhere in time and space. All it takes is the right viewpoint. Yannick Meyer’s life seemed locked in a downward spiral of ill health and worse luck, when a knock at the door changed everything. Offworld opportunity beckoned, a release from the rampant pollution and social decay of Earth, or so he thought. However the bright lights of Washington station hide their own shadows… Two engineers stumble upon a signal that holds a promise of inescapable violence… One man sits alone, pleased with his work as he watches the funeral of someone that only he truly knows, losing count of how many have died before… All these stories come together, bound by the power of The Binary Man, the first true magician.
