The Back Flap
The book is a combination of fifteen tiny poems on the same theme of metamorphosis of a human, but from both physical and mental sides. The book will motivate and encourage people to follow their dreams as they dreamed earlier.
About the book
What is the book about?
My book is about the Metamorphosis through the lives we all are living. It is both by mentally and by ages.
When did you start writing the book?
I started writing at twelve, and wished to be a writer at 15. Currently, I am 17 years old.
How long did it take you to write it?
It took me about 10-12 days to write.
Where did you get the idea from?
I got the idea from other chapbooks and from the true incidents of my life.
Were there any parts of the book where you struggled?
Yeah, at the time of choosing the correct words, I really struggled.
What came easily?
For me, the idea came easily.
We all know how important it is for writers to read. Are there any particular authors that have influenced how you write and, if so, how have they influenced you?
Walt Whitman, Rabindranath Tagore and Shakespeare .
About Writing
Do you have a writing process? If so can you please describe it?
No, but kind of that. I have a notepad, where I write all of the titles or ideas that strike my mind. If no notepad, then mobile phone texted.
Do you edit as you go or wait until you’ve finished?
After finishing, I edit the content as per my wish.
About Publishing
Did you submit your work to Agents?
Yeah, I have submitted and it was accepted but I had not contacted them.
What made you decide to go Indie, whether self-publishing or with an indie publisher? Was it a particular event or a gradual process?
For a little experience, I got on to self publishing but now I am working to get it traditionally published.
Did you get your book cover professionally done or did you do it yourself?
I did it by Myself.
Do you have a marketing plan for the book or are you just winging it?
I am just winging t
Any advice that you would like to give to other newbies considering becoming Indie authors?

I grew up in Haripal, Hooghly district of West Bengal in India.
Where do you live now?
I still live in there.
What would you like readers to know about you?
I am a teen author still.
What are you working on now?
I have worked on my debut poetry book – A Poetic Heart : Poems On Self Compassion“ that has been accepted by a hybrid publisher “Writers Pocket” and will be launched within February, 2026, after self publishing 12 chapbooks, this will be my debut poetry book.
But, now I am on a break.
